**Terms and Conditions for the Academy Platform**

Welcome to the Academy Platform by #madeinnyjazz. By registering, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
**1. Definitions**
- **Platform:** The Academy website and services provided therein.
- **User:** Any individual who registers, uploads content, or accesses content on the Platform, including but not limited to teachers and students.
- **Content:** Any videos, lessons, practices, tips, lectures, or other materials uploaded by Users.
**2. User Responsibilities**
**2.1 Registration**
- Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Users must be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent if under 18.
**2.2 Account Security**
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
- Notify the Platform immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
**2.3 Content Upload**
- Users may upload music lessons, practices, lectures, and related content, provided it complies with these Terms.
- Users represent and warrant that they own or have rights to all content uploaded to the Platform.
- Users must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or violates third-party rights.
**2.4 Pricing and Payments**
- Users set their own pricing for their content.
- 80% of the revenue from sales will be paid to the User after deductions for applicable fees.
- Users must connect a valid Stripe account to receive payments.
**2.5 Student Mode**
- Users can access content uploaded by other artists and agree to use purchased materials solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
**3. Platform Rights and Responsibilities**
**3.1 Content Moderation**
- The Platform reserves the right to review, remove, or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.
**3.2 Updates and Maintenance**
- The Platform is in BETA mode and may undergo regular updates, which could result in temporary service interruptions.
- We are not liable for any disruptions during maintenance or updates.
**3.3 Termination of Use**
- The Platform may suspend or terminate a User’s access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

**4. Intellectual Property**
- Users retain ownership of the content they upload but grant the Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute the content to other Users.
- The Platform’s trademarks, logos, and branding are owned by the Platform and must not be used without permission.
**5. Payment Terms**
- Payments will be processed via Stripe. Users are responsible for ensuring their Stripe account details are accurate and up-to-date.
- Payouts will be made according to the Platform’s schedule, typically within 30 days of a completed transaction.
**6. Liability Disclaimer**
- The Platform is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- The Platform is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from the use of the Platform, content uploaded by Users, or payment processing errors.
**7. Governing Law**
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction].
